Is Iraq Really Going Wrong?

One thing I see continually repated over and over by the left(and even some on the right) is that "Iraq is going horribly". No actually, the situation in Iraq is going quite well for the people who originally envisioned and wanted the 2003 invasion. I won't go into the plan to stage and make up false information about Iraq and "WMDs" and "ties to al Qaeda", I'm sure even a bulk of the war supporters know those were lies.

But as far as I can see, the architects of this war that's killed and maimed an unGodly amount of innocent Iraqis(not to mention quite a few American and coalition forces) wanted to incite and bring on insurgency, sectarian violence and all out chaos. Remember when Bush told the insurgency to "bring it on"? This chaos ensured three things: Prolonging the war to allow government tentacled corporations to make a killing, setting up permanent bases, and providing the pretext to "Balkanize" the region into three regions. Now if you're wondering why I didn't mention oil...the reason why the government hasn't gone hog wild in taking the oil just yet, is because that would not just validate the popular belief that it's "all about the oil", but also because the plans for Iraq are far from complete.
The permenant bases does two things: like a dog marks it's territory, furthering Western hegemony like a notch on a bedpost in the middle east. And two, turns Iraq into a launchpad for the next middle eastern country to take over. Is it merely a coincidence the two countires bordering on either side of Iran just happen to be Afghanistan and Iraq...the two countries the US government invaded?

In a new NY times article, they state that the US is arming and backing Sunni insurgency all the sudden. Say what? The same guys that focused all their effort to blow up Americans and innocents, is now being a tool of the US? Oh...it's all to "fight al Qaeda", the tentacle
reaching ultimate bad guy group ala GI Joe's C.O.B.R.A.(heck we were told al Qaeda even has COBRA like hi-tech bases in the side of mountains. SNAKE EYES!)
Now as Americans, we got used to hearing "al Qaeda" as the "Im rubber your glue" response to everything. "Mr. President, why are you making it difficult for seniors to have adequate drug coverage, and stripping away our civil liberties?"..."al Kwayduhs! al Kwayduhs gonna get you! They could be under your bed or making WMD's
at Michaels craft store and Joanne fabrics!" But I digress.

A lot of people might not know that Rumsfeld initiated a program called P2OG whose mission status was literally to incite insurgency, terrorism and sectarian violence in Iraq. According to a classified document prepared for Rumsfeld by his Defense Science Board, the new organization--the "Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group (P2OG)"--will carry out secret missions designed to "stimulate reactions" among terrorist groups, provoking them into committing violent acts which would then expose them to "counterattack" by U.S. forces.

This is chaos by design folks..."Order out of Chaos" as President Bush so eloquently put it. You then have the fact that the horrific Abu Gharib
sex torture was not only white washed(trust me, they didn't let loose with the real evil shit going on there), but it was part of Rumsfeld and company's "Copper Green" program and not some "foolhardy"
work of a few subbordanates. From the New Yorker "Copper Green, encouraged physical coercion and sexual humiliation of Iraqi prisoners in an effort to generate more intelligence about the growing insurgency in Iraq. A senior C.I.A. official, in confirming the details of this account last week, said that the operation stemmed from Rumsfeld’s long-standing desire to wrest control of America’s clandestine and paramilitary operations from the C.I.A.". Whereas Bush may not know the difference between Sunni and Shiites, Bushes puppetmasters sure do...and they are doing all they can to further divide that wedge...even if it means playing off and inciting both sides.

Even Colin Powel the other day asked for the closing of Guantánamo Bay, just one of many facilities like all the illegal secret CIA prisons where the government engages in horrific mind, body and sex torture against "suspected combatants". However, it's come to light that many of the so called enemy combatants picked up in Afghanistan were innocentand had been rounded up for $5000 a person by the narco trafficking Northern Alliance. The US government of course encouraging these guys to round up as many people as possible with the carrot stick of riches. It gets even sicker when you realize that according to Generals Rumsfeld actually engaged in some of the torture at Gitmo. So let's see...Rumsfeld lied to get us into war, then brought about plans to incite sectarian violence and insurgency...and took pride in orchestrating the widespread torture. Gee, I thought we went into Iraq to stop the torture?

But it get's even better. You see British SAS soldiers were sent into Basra in Iraq dressed as Iraqis(with fake beards and all) to blow up mosques, police stations, etc. Only problem is, they were caught, and the British army had to blow up the police station with tanks to free the men. This is not unlike news that the CIA was behind other bombings in Iraq, a technique MI5 used to provocatuer IRA bombers in years past.

The media is talking about Haditha and some of the even more widespread unspeakable horrors committed at the hands of marines and US soldiers that have only just began to be uncovered. This behavior is expected when the army is actively recruiting hardcore violent gang members and neo Nazis to go to Iraq.
But what we're ALSO beginning to learn about is private millitary contractors like Blackwater, TITAN, Caci, etc. CNN has been good at reporting at how many billions these guys make. where as private relief groups and citizens have to raise money to send adequate armor and post tour return relief to the soldiers, these PMC's are making so much more money than our brave men and women over there. If that isn't bad enough, not only is the torture outsourced to CACI and Titan employees, but private contractors are routinely caught doing joy killings and shootings in Iraq. And I don't mean the private millitary folks, but pencil pocket guys. Many private contractors have died in Iraq, but it's these private millitary groups that have really run amok while zapping taxpayer's money.
Should Dyncorp who was proven to have been behind massive child sex slavery in late 90's Bosnia be given no bid contracts? Halliburton's KBR and Dyncorp have been caught being behind human slavery and trafficking yet the government continues to rape America's finances to shell out to these guys. The private millitary contractors are just the tip of the iceberg. Isn't private corporate armies something that's been warned about out of cyberpunk and political sci fi novels for years? If only the people of ancient Sumer and Babylon knew how their land would be the focal pounts thousands of years later for this struggle. Almost...makes you wonder what artifacts were taken from that Baghdad museum within days of the fall of the city?

I HIGHLY reccomend the new documentary Iraq For Sale
by the people who brought you Walmart: High Cost of Low Cost, Outfoxed and Unconstitutional. It really exposes what's going on with the private millitary contracts, the lack of adequate care for the troops and the lies that got us into Iraq.
